Protected Word Document and Hyperlinks

I have a Word 2003 document that is protected and has hyperlinks. I
successfully created a macro button and it worked great. However, it only
worked on my computer. To work on another computer, I had to copy the macro
to that computer and also to other login accounts on the same computer. This
document will be on a website and it is not feasible to copy the macro to all
the computers internally and externally that will be accessing the document.
Is there a other way to do this so that hyperlinks will work in a protected
document without creating a macro button?

I know of no other methods to make the hyperlinks work in protected forms.

If you store the macro in the protected document itself, you do not need to
copy the macro anywhere - it will follow the document. My guess is that you
stored the macro in your own Normal.dot and copied it to the Normal.dot of
other users as well.

Note however, that the individual users' macro security settings may prevent
the macro from running.
