PROTECTING CELLS

BIGKELL

I HAVE A SPREADSHEET THAT WILL BE PLACED ON A NETWORK.
THE SPREADSHEET WILL HAVE INFORMATION THAT WILL BE
MAINTAINED BY THREE SEPARATE AREAS. I WANT EACH AREA TO
INPUT IT'S INFORMATION IN THE REQUIRED CELLS IN A
SPREADSHEET ROW. I WANT TO PREVENT EACH AREA FROM
MODIFYING DATA THAT WAS INPUT BY ANOTHER AREA. CAN I LIMIT
WRITE CAPABILITY TO CERTAIN CELLS IN A ROW OF DATA?

Don't know that what you want is possible, can you change
the workbook such that each area has its own input sheet,
with seperate passwords for each sheet, then tally this up
on a fourth globally protected sheet.
