Protecting Documents in Office 2007

Currently using Office 2007. Showing the Developer tab, and know how/where
to protect documents for forms. Problem is, when I click on Protect
Document, then on Restrict Formatting and Editing, nothing happens. The
task pane doesn't open. I've searched and googled till my fingers are
nothing but nubs. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rosie

Have you run Microsoft Office Diagnostics?

Yes, I did. It didn't fix the issue. Weirder still is that if another
user logs on to the machine, it works just fine. It's got to be some
setting that I did, but I can't find it. It's truly driving me crazy.

It's bad form to reply to myself, but here goes! I fixed the issue by
deleting the registry key. Opened Word back up, and it works! Yay!

Actually it is not bad form to reply to yourself in a newsgroup when you
post the answer to the issue you were having, it's only bad form to
not post the complete answer. What key did you delete?
