Protecting Printed Word Documents

I neet to have an INVISIBLE watermark that will only show
up on ILLEGALLY printed documents. I am a teacher and am
trying to encourage the students to access their grades
online and one way to do it is to have extra credit on the
website. I can't have illegal copies of this extra credit
floating around.

If the document is on a web site in any shape or form there's nothing you
can do to stop people printing it. Particularly if you're concerned with
people behaving illegally, there's nothing you can put in a Word document
that others can't remove if they put their minds to it.

I've seen PDFs purchased online that endorse each copy with a notice along
the lines of 'This document is licensed to John Doe who is authorised to
...." Fairly pointless, I always thought; still relatively easy to defeat;
and expensive to set up and administer.
