Is there anyway to protect specific range in the word
document. With macros I am keeping some text in to the
word document. I have to prevent the user from deleting
that text.

Word 2003 is the first version that can do that.

If you protect part of a document in 2003 and send it to people who
use earlier versions, the entire document will be locked, so even this
isn't a solution unless all your users are on 2003.
