protecting workbook

Hello,

I would like to protect an entire workbook, leaving
certain cells on each worksheet available to be keyed. Is
there a way to do this without having to protect each
worksheet one at a time? Thanks!!

Hi Tracy,

Workbook level protection is used to prevent users from
adding/deleting/reorganizing sheets or resizing windows.
In addition, workbook level protection is useful if you have hidden
worksheets and do not want users to be able to unhide them.

Assuming you understand how to unlock individual cells in a worksheet,
worksheets level protection is the only thing you can use to protect
individual sheets from content/object/scenario changes by the user.
