I have a Word form I use in my company (we use Office 2002). The form is
protected to prevent users from changing any formating, they are only able to
type in the fields. After they fill out the form the users click the "Send
to: Mail Recipient" button to submit the form (no routing slips). The form
has been working this way for the past three months. Recently, however, when
the users type something in one of the fields, the "Send to : Mail Recipient"
button gets grayed out so the users are unable to select it. I noticed Word
only does this while the form is protected.
The users are still able to send as an attachment but this is a big
inconvienence for the person receiving the form.
Does anyone know why Word started this all of a sudden and how I can keep
the "Send to: Mail Recipient" active while the form is protected?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
