protection/pivot table

Is there a way to have a worksheet protected, but still allow selections on
a pivot table? Thanks.

It depends on the version, if you
have 2003 (maybe 2002 as well?) you can select
use pivot table reports when you protect the sheet.
Of course the drawback is if you send
it to anyone with 97 or 2000 they can't use it.
