Here is an Excel question. I have several important spreadsheets with
macros in a VBA Project. It is sometimes necessary for clients in the field
to add rows, edit cells with custom functions, etc. If I password-protect
the project and then add rows or other maintenance, I receive a message to
the effect "You cannot save this spreadsheet with a VBA module protected.
Unprotect it before saving" I would like to protect my work and still
modify the structure of a spreadsheet in the field. I am aware that it is
possible to include sensitive code in an Add-In, but I am dealing with
clients who sometimes require an hour to learn how to to deal with e-mail
attachments. I dread the help desk hassles if a client wants to copy a
spreadsheet to another computer without the proper Add-In in a proper
directory. Is there any way around this protection problem?
