Hi Gabriela -
If you mean you can't run the same licensed copy of Office on *both* systems
at the same time, you're absolutely correct. The End User License Agreement
(EULA) permits installing on 2 Macs but only allows running on one at a
time. Right or wrong, the expectation is that you can't be using both Macs
at once.
If that isn't the concern, what you should do is ask your question on Apple
networking, file & device sharing in the Apple Discussions forum. It has
nothing to do with anything Microsoft
