Protection

Hi,
I need to protect a sheet EXCEPT 3 cells needed for inputs from drop down
validation lists.
How do I protec the whole sheet SO THAT LOCKED CELLS CANNOT BE SELECTED but
ONLY those 3 cells CAN be selected????

Select the cells you want to allow changes. Right-click,
select Format Cells, click Protection Tab, deselect the
Locked option, click OK. Now protect the sheet, from the
menu select Tools, Protection, Protect sheet, enter
password, click OK, reenter password, click OK. Now only
these three cells can be changed.
