I have setup some HTML based (hotmail) e-mail accounts in Outlook 2003,
however, I have not been able to figure out how to move the location data
file (.pst) associated with each, and maintain the link/association to the
account folder in outlook. I specify a location for my pop3 data file, and
would like to place the html data file(s) in the same location. This
location is different than the default: /documents and settings/user/local
settings/application data/microsoft/office/
location. It appears that once the data file is created in this default
location, there is no provision given to move it and maintain the link to the
folder. If I choose to create a .pst before setting up the html mail
account, there doesn't seem to be a provision to associate the html account
with that .pst.
Does anyone else think this would be a helpful addition?
