PS 2003 - restore WSS 2.0/Project Database on new server

C

Chris N.

I'm in the process of trying to migrate a Project 2003 server from one
server to another. I've installed WSS 2.0 on the new server, extended the
default website and completed the project install. I've backed up the WSS
2.0 sites using stsadm from the old server then restored on the new server.
The Content and Configuration databases for WSS on this Project server are
on a separate server running SQL2005. I've also backed up and restored the
Project database from the SQL 2000 server it was on to the same SQL2005
server that houses the WSS 2.0 content and configuration DB's

My issue is that the project sites do not appear to have been restored or
that the new project server is not seeing them in it's WSS 2.0 configuration
Database. When I go to manage the sharepoint sites and click on the manage
link in the left column the projects do not show sharepoint links. If I
manually recreate them then sites are created but the content from the old
server does not appear.

How can I backup and restore the WSS content so that this part of Project
will migrate properly to the new server?

Thanks!

Chris
