PS 2007 - Material Resource Cost per Use

The more I pursue cost mdelling in MSP 2007 Professional, the more
issues emerge (bugs).
System is patched to October update.
I have a number of material resources which have a cost per use in the
rates table. The Task Usage view in MSP behaves as expected but when
you look at the information in Data Analysis view the cost in the
first day is wrong by a huge margin. This reflects the data in
MSP_EPMAssignmentbyDay table in the Reporting database. Am I the only
one to suffer this problem?
