PS 2007 Migration Issue

Char

Hi all,

After many repeated attempts I was finally able to migrate the global
template from PS 2003 to PS 2007. I've also managed to migrate some published
projects successfully. What I dont' understand is why in PWA 2007 it appends
-published after the project names. In the migration configuration file I've
specified, under the Published section, the name of the project. and then
..published.

Has anyone dealt with the same issue?

Thanks.

Hi Char,

When we did the migration, we too had the similar issue. Though I did
not ran the migration script, this had created lot of noice at that
time and we were told that migration script would add this _Published
at the end of project names. However if you create a new project in
2007, it will not have the text "_Published". This is only on the
migrated ones.

Thanks,
Ravi.

Thanks for the info Ravi.

So is there any way I can remove the _published text? I will be importing
some current projects from 2003 and the _published text will be unacceptable.

Nothing as of I know Char. My earlier deployment was nearly 10 months
old in 2007 version and still has _Published on migrated projects.

Thanks,
Ravi.
