PS 2007: Moved time in My Tasks

Hello,

The system set-up is SP 2007 with SP 1 applied.

We're having an intermittent problem with time submitted in My Tasks.
Projects are tracked using the Hours of work done per period tracking method,
and I have changed the My Tasks web-part to show work done per day. I.e. you
don't have to click on the task to a seperate screen, you can do it all on
the one page.

Every now and again we find that time we entered has been moved back one or
two days. And I have no idea why? The first time I thought we'd just
mis-entered, but it has now happened to a number of peope a number of times.

Has anyone else seen this problem? I'm getting that 'why this is
happening?' look from everyone in the organisation, and to be honest a shrug
of my shoulders is not going to cut it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Calendar Maybe ?

Can you elaborate at all? All our users have the same calendar. It's only
been modified to have a 7.5 hour day with different start and finish times to
the 'standard'.

How might the calendar affect this, and why would it only cause a periodic
problem?
