PS 2007 Project Workspace List - Export to spreadsheet

Hi,
We are using project server 2007. Whenever the project managers opening
the project workspace they do not have the option to Export the list to
spreadsheet. What is the procedure to provide that access to project
mangers. This problem occurs only the resources loging in with forms
authentication.

Arun, you need to make sure that yoru user has Excel on their PC.

Hi Marc,
Thanks for your reply. Yes all the users have MS office/Excel 2007 in
their PC. From the same PC, if I access the the list with a windows
authentication account with same privillage, it is showing that option.

Arun, I am not sure why you have this issue, but I could imagine that the
browser settings for the other users vary from the one where it works. If you
compare the 2 and ensure that their are the same, does this resolve your
issue?

Marc,
Thanks for your reply. I tried from same pc/browser with two
account(windows Authentication, Forms Authentication) with same previllages.
But the forms authentication is not showing that option.

Hello everybody,

I'm not sure for this particular case, but I know that Form Authentications
have some less permission than Windows authentications. Maybe this one is a
permission to be lacking in the Form authentication.

Thanks Gerard, Aurun, I wasnt aware that the one user was forms
authentication. I would also assume that this is the case. If this is the
only differentiator, I would think that it is because of formsauthentication
