PS 2007 Queuing System

Mauro

I created a custom field on Tuesday. I noticed on Wednesday and
Thursday that about 15 projects were published, but the project
updates were not being sent to the Reporting DB because they were
stuck in the Queuing system due to the custom field I created, which
by the way was a simple one and gave the following message. “One or
more custom field metadata mismatch were detected while transfering
project” My question is twofold. Why would the Que fail due to a
custom field? And two will I have to republish all the projects so the
updates are reflected in the Reporting DB? My SSRS report is not
reflecting the same project update information that is in the
Published DB.

Thanks,
-Maurizio

If you add a new custom field, all projects do need to be re-published to
update the reporting db. A new field should not cause the Queue to fail, but
editing fields in the Risk and Issue pages will.
