PS 2007 SP1 Some project durations increase with every F9

Anyone experience issues with calculating their projects? I noticed mine
increase in duration every time I press F9. Any ideas?

I do have Calculation set to manual. I am working with massive projects
(>10,000 tasks) and felt this was a way to open projects faster. I am not
noticing this increase with all projects. I believe it is a bug. Why would
the durations continue to increase with each subsequent recalculation? No
way that is by design. I also have to press F9 to check for circular logic
errors and to see fi they have been resolved.

That is not good. The hotfix did not fix the problem, so you may be correct.
I expected an error message when this occured. This is actually why I was
pressing F9 to start with. Another thing I noticed is that this happened on
a master project but not the sub projects. Any suggestions?

Renee:

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... You need to find the circular
relationship manually as the system does not detect these between projects.
You will never see an error message for one of these, but you will see this
type of behavior you are reporting.
