I have noticed the following behaviour with PS 2007 Timesheets:
1) There is a recall Action which allows you to pull back a submitted
timesheet for re-editing which is good but I assumed after timesheet
is approved this would no longer apply. This is not the case. A
timesheet can be recalled after it has been approved.
2) I then investigated actions when time period is closed. I found as
administrator I could close a period but when I looked at a timesheet
list as a user - if there is no timesheet created for that period then
the period is flagged as closed; if a timesheet has been created the
period is not immediately shown as closed and its status is as
previous (approved, submitted, in progress). This response seems to
be different for different users. Generally even though a closed
period was not flagged as closed the system did not allow you to edit
timesheet.
Are there any settings which impact these behaviours?
Is anyone else seeing this?
regards
Mike
