Well, after spending days at my customer's site trying to
get STS to connect to Project Server, and after making a
few posts here about the problem, and following all the MS
KB articles, advice, etc. that I could find...I finally
got STS to connect to PS...
Here's the deal...MS posted a KB article # q819643 dated 6-
8-2003 that, at the very bottom, says; if all else fails
upgrade IE on the Server to the latest version..
That fixed the connection problem...Too bad is wasn't
mentioned in any MS documentation or KB articles when we
started..
Oh well...Hope this post can help someone else...Regards..
(BTW; My thanks to one of the fine folks here that posted
a reply to one of my messages and mentioned, among many
other things, to be sure all SP's, upgrades, etc. are
current on the server...This got me in the right
direction...I just wouldn't have fiqured IE had to also be
the very latest 6+ version...)
