PS07 Filtering vs "Saved Links" in PS03

in PS03, i could modify a view (add a filter, move existing columns around,
etc) and save it as a link.
Is there an equivalent for PS07? I"m not seeing.

If i create a custom filter in a view, PS07 seems to 'remember' this without
doing a save link, however, it appears that i can only have 1 custom filter
rather than many filters.

Am i on the right track and is the above true for PS07 or am i missing
something?

One of my disappointments with Project Server 2007 was that Microsoft
eliminated the "Save Link" capability that was so very useful in Project
Server 2003. Where it was REALLY useful was with Portfolio Analyzer views,
since it allowed executives and stakeholders to essentially create their own
custom Portfolio Analyzer views from a "starter" View. Alas, that
functionality is gone, and I don't know any way to work around this
limitation. Hope this helps.
