I'm upgrading from Project Server 2002. I updated the
ProjectServer database using the upd10db.cmd script. The
converted database includes SQL users (not Windows users)
MSProjectUser and MSProjectServerUser and assignment of
each to database roles MSProjectRole and
MSProjectServerRole respectively.
Each time I try to get past the "Enter database
information" window and connect MSP to the database, I get
the following error: "The specified MSProjectServerRole
Account is not in the MSProjectServerRole role."
This is not a password problem. The loginid and password
are accepted. It's the rights that are the problem. But
in SQL Enterprise Manager, the roles are assigned. And
under that, the roles have plenty of rights (the right
ones, I assume).
Suggestions?
