PS2003 - Update not sent to resources removed from task assignment

Hi,

I encountered a problem in one of my company's projects, which I haven't a
clue about how to address it. The problem is that whenever I try to publish
or republish changes in the project, it gives the message:
"An update has not been sent to resources who have been removed from task
assignments. An update with this information will be sent now."
But, when I click in "OK", the Project status changes to "Ready" but it
doesn't save or send any info to the team members.

Maybe the PS2003 is trying to send an update to the resource who has been
removed, but it doesn't find him anymore... What do you think?
