PS2003 - Using Special Characters in a Project Name

My client wants to name some of their projects using characters other than
the usual a-z and 0-9 (eg '+' and '/' etc).

I know that many of these characters (eg '&') cause MS Project a problem but
is there a definitive list of special characters that can or cannot be used?
