PS2007 - Administrative time and assignment detail

I am wanting to use the timesheet or calendar exception method for allocating
non-project time (e.g. vacation, training, sick) to resources. This seems to
work well enough however the details do not show up in either the
availability or assignment views. I have been asked where project manager's
can get a detailed view of competing resource allocations (project + non
project) when trying staff up projects. An example is that training might
need to be re-scheduled if the PM requires that resource for more pressing
work. Anybody know how to get a consolidated view of resource allocations
(assignments + timesheets)?

There are two types of admin time - working and non-working. Non-
working time hits the resources calendar and so reduces capacity.
This is visible in View availability and Data Analysis views (and in
MSP usage views). The working time items appear in View Availability
and MSP Usage against My Timesheet heading which loses a little bit of
the detail but at least highlight "discretionary" work. I am sure
this detail is available in Data Analysis but need to check.
