PS2007: Backup and Recovery

I need to have a fool proof solution to backup and recover my PWA site, i
tried a couple of options but none of them achieved what I intended to do.

I've my PWA running on one server, I take backups both through the site
settings and through Sharepoint.
Now say if my disk crashes due to any reason, and I have the backup of the
data (Ideal would be a weekly complete backup and daily differential backup)
I should be able to do a complete restore of my PWA site taking a fresh
install of WSPS and PS2007. Is it possible???

Yes, but of course you'll want to test it. There is a whole guide on Technet
for this, and Steven Haden of MS did some slides and demos on this at the
project conference. He uses the sharepoint backup, as it keeps the integrity
of the configuraiton data.

you can use the command of the WSS
STSADM.EXE -o backup -directory \\backup -backupmethod full
