[PS2007] - De-activates user access but remains as a resource

Hi,

I have a user account that is being setup as a user and also as a resource
in the projectserver, I would like to remove him as user but still able to
use him as a resource.

In the resource center, the "Resource can logon to Project Server" option is
disabled so I could not deselect it.

Is the global permission disabled ?

If you create a new resource/user is this permission still disbaled ?

You could create a new category with Deny log on permissions.

Hi Paul,

I would like to remove the person as a user mainly for license issue,
because he is no longer needed to access to the server and someone else takes
over his license. By denying logon permission for him, I believe he will
still be considered as someone who needs the PWA license as indicated in the
About Project Server.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have tried out and it works as indicated in
the About Project Server.

I create a new group instead because a category does not have deny log
permission.
