[PS2007] - Import schedule losing baseline

R

Roland

I need to import a schedule baselined on PS2007 back onto the server.
However, the baseline keeps getting cleared upon saving. I have admin rights
and have been able to do this up until we installed the Dec 16, 2008 CU. Any
suggestions?

Thanks!

Yes the schedule has been published previously. Import clears the baseline
on the Save As... functionn.

Just for yucks, see if this clears it up:

The directions are for 2003, but you can apply this to 2007 as well. Let us
know if this restores the data after the import.

We have a remote terminal server setup. PS2003 permits you save offline but
in our environment this isn't available. The file I have is in mpp format.
I had the system admin flip the switch to 1 and then tried re-importing the
schedule saving it over the top of the existing previous schedule. Project
continued to delete the baseline data.

I can't tell from your post if you were really successful in rebuilding the
binary record in the database. There is a baseline data issue I've been
pursuing that responds to this type of therapy, at least temporarily. You
may have a different problem, or a problem specific to this schedule. Try
saving the file as an XML file and then reimport the data.
