All of the documentation for PS2007 refers to Windows server 2003, is this
supported with windows server 2008?

Hi there ,

Yes it is possible , bit of tweaks one has to do but it does work, have a
look through previous posts and you will see i have previously respoded in
more detail to a similar question.

Thanks, but i dont see any posts that you've answered. I did see one that
talks about installing PS2007 on a 64bit server. It sounds like we would
have to purchase 64bit version of PS, is this correct?

Hi there ,

Yes indeed , i dont have to but i would stringly suggest you do purchase the
x64 version. I dont seem to find the post but what it basically boils down to
is that you have to start iis' ie6 compatibility mode. Check the link for a
single server install

I've just completing an installation of Project 2007 on Windows 2008 R2 64x
by Slipstreaming SharePoint SP2 and other patches into the installation.

Here are some links that helped me:

For Slipstreaming sharepoint this is a good blogpost:

We slipstreamed the Project installation in a similar way
