PS2007 - Resource Cost Center

Is there a way to get the Resource Cost Center to use a Lookup table?
It seems that out of the box, the Resource Cost Center is just a text field
to add data if appropriate..

i would like to to be tied to a lookup table and use the already existing
field of Cost Center rather than having to create a new one and ignore the
existing, out of the box one.

thx.

You can only use Lookup Tables with custom enterprise fields, and with the
built-in custom enterprise fields that ship with Project Server 2007. You
CANNOT use a Lookup Table with any default field in Project Professional
2007, such as the resource Cost Center field. On the other hand, why don't
you create a new custom enterprise Resource field and give it a different
name other than Cost Center, and then tie it to a new enterprise Lookup
Table? Just a thought. Hope this helps.

yep that helps confirm.
I was just thinking that similar to teams, a lookup table could be created
and associated with the existing field...
