PS2007 Status Manager confusing My Projects

Running Project Server 2007, I have created a view called 'Projects I Own' in
the Project Center that is configured to belong only to the security category
'My Projects'. This is so the project managers can simply and easily view
only the projects they own in the Project Center view. We have dozens of
projects and most project managers only own a few projects that they want to
see and work on.

Unfortunately, this view also shows projects for which a person used to be
the owner, even though the project now has been transferred to a new owner. I
believe this is because the 'My Projects' cetagory includes projects for
which the person is the Owner OR is the Status Manager OR was the Status
Manager previously. This is resulting in the filter not working as desired
and the list shown is still cluttered with projects that no longer involve
the old owner.

My question is this: Is there a way to clear out the 'old' status manager(s)
for a project so that the current owner is the only person tagged as a Status
Manager for that project?

Or is there another way to filter the list of projects in the Project Center
view to show only projects where the current user is the owner?

Thank you.

Hey there,

There is another way to do it, but it is a biggie to setup and i will
not go into details here. if you use an RBS you can setup your
categories to look at the RBS and only display projects that is on
their own level.
