The resource that i was trying to make into a timesheet approver was inactive. I didnt realize that because i could still login as him using forms Authen. In addition to that, i had him in the 2003 Exec group which did not have the same catagories as the 2007. I switched him to 2007. Now that he is active and I am using the 2007 groups, the timesheet that i was trying to test seems to work smoothly. I still dont know why i have a regular resouce with the ability to be selected as a timesheet manager. I'm sure its just a checkbox somewhere that needs to be deselected, but I havnet found it yet.
