PSD: Task Assignments & Work Adjustments

Is there a way for Project to allow me to add new resources to a task and not
have it adjust everyones allocation? I would prefer it increment total work
effort.

One would think that Fixed Units would accomplish this; however...

PSD --

You need to deselect the Effort Driven option for the task. Hope this
helps.

PSD:

Uncheck Effort Driven for the task. When a task is effort driven, the system
assumes that this will reduce the workload for each resource. When
deselected, the system adds work to the task for the new resource. This is
Project 101 stuff.
