PSI Question: How to update timephased costs for a cost resource?

Hi,

How do you update the timephased cost information for a cost resource using
the PSI?
--I don't see a PID value for updating cost information in the Statusing Web
Service, so I don't see how I can do it there.
--I've tried just setting the ASSN_COST value when adding a new assignment
row using the AddToProject method of the Project Web Service, but the cost
values always show up with a 0.
--This is a cost resource, so entering values in a work field doesn't seem
appropriate.

What's a programmer to do?

Since I haven't gotten a quick answer saying "it can't be done", or "it can
be done and here's how", perhaps my question didn't make sense. I can
rephrase it like this....

I'd like to update informtion for a cost resource using the statusing web
service, the same way I can for a work resource. That doesn't seem to work,
though, as the field I want to update is actual cost, not actual work. Also,
I can't impersonate a cost resource, so I can't seem to make the statusing
web service work. Is there an alternate recommended way to update
information for cost resources usign the PSI?
