PSMIGRAT error

Hi,

I am currently upgrading a MSP 2002 instal to 2003, the
MSP server and SQL server will remain in Window 2k while
the WSS will be placed on a new 03 Server.

When I run the PSMIGRATE on the Win 2K server I get the
following error message -

File or assembly name Microsoft.Sharepoint, or one of its
dependencies, was not found.

We have made sure we have Office XP SP2 and OWS1002.exe
installed as well as the .Net framework.

I have run the upgrade script on the Project Server,
uninstalled MSP 2002 but not touched STS. I have
installed WSS on the 03 Server and run the WSSWIZ.exe.

I notice that in the .Net Configuration under Assembly
Cache on the Project Server 2k that Microsoft.Sharepoint
under is not listsed!

Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Alex

Alex:

Our best guidance on this issue at this time is to rerun the STSWiz on the
2002 SharePoint installation and try again. When you apply a SharePoint
service pack, it removes the Project Server specific configurations
reverting back to plain vanilla SharePoint. It has always been a requirement
to run STSWiz after applying a SharePoint service pack.

Let us know how you make out.
