pst cannot be accessed

Hi,
I have user with win98 os and the pst size is 2G.
When I ask user to delete email the error as path.pst cannot be accessed
appear.
Why and how to solce it?
For the time being i create new pst file to deliver to her pc.

What version of Outlook?

You indicate a .pst file size of 2GB which you probably know is the upper
limit on .psts used up to Outlook 2002. When they hit that, you're stuck.
Microsoft provides a small tool to delete part of the .pst to get it under
the limit and allow you to open it again:
