PST Expands Automatically when mail is moved to it via a rule:

C

Chris King

Outlook Version:
2003 SP1
Running in a 2003 Exchange Server environment

Issue: Outlook automatically expands the PST file once mail is moved from
the inbox to the PST.

Details:
I have 5 PST files. I have rules that move messages (checking when the
message arrives) to the PST file. Prior to the rule moving the message to
the PST, the PST is collapsed, thus hiding the subfolder structure beneath.
Once the rule moves the message to the PST, the PST expands revealing the
subfolders below.

Desired Outcome:
Turn off the feature which automatically expands PST files when mail is
moved to the PST via rules.

So, you don't WANT to know that you have new mail messages in your PST
folders? You're pretty much in the minority with that. I'll vote "no".
