Hi Diane and thanks for your helpfulness!
Now I have tried all your suggestions but still get back the old emails.
Last chance is to remove the PST file. How do I do?
Can you give me an instruction how to delete the pst file.
The neighbor has Windows XP as its operating system and does not use the web
mail.
Thank you in advance

How do I see if there is more than one account tied to my neighbor's mail?
In Outlook? Control panel, mail.
If I delete all my emails (in Inbox), both new and old,
how do I remove them from the pst file, how do I do?
Hit Delete to delete from inbox and then empty the deleted items folder or
use Shift+Delete when deleting them.
Do you (the neighbor) have web access to the account? If so, log in andI have marked that I do not want to save some mail on the server.
verify the mailbox is empty.
