PST file in Outlook 2003 - What format for IMAP acct?

Rebecca

I saw online that the format for the pst file created when creating an IMAP
email acct using Outlook 2003 is in the "'97-'02" format, and, therefore,
subject to the 2 gb file size limit. However, I saw other documentation that
says it defaults to the '03 pst file format, which has a (practicle) 20 gb
file size limit. So - which is it? (And/or, how can I tell the difference?)
Thanks.

Yes, I realize that, but if you read my initial question more carefully, you
will see that that is not what I was asking.

What I am asking is - when you setup an IMAP acct using Outlook 2003, it
*automatically* creates the pst file associated with that IMAP acct. The
question is - is that pst file in the "'97-'02" format, thereby changing the
file size limitation.

If you've done it already, open Outlook and go to File/Data File
Management/Settings. If you haven't done it already, sorry, I don't know
as I only use POP.

THANK YOU!!! Yes, that is just what I was looking for. Awesome! (Btw - the
answer is - it uses the '97-'02 format - so only 2 gb file size.)

Yea! :)

Outlook 2003 cannot use the Unicode format for IMAP PSTs. It will create IMAP
PSTs in the old ANSI format.
