pst file shared in my home net

Hi, what I am trying to do is share my pst file on my home net. It´s stored in the desktop´s hard drive, but it can be accessed from my notebook also (something amazing, bu the way)...

My problem is that everytime I check for new messages, the computer I am using will duplicate all the messages already loaded into the inbox by the other computer, and vice versa - I cannot aford to clean the server everytime I check on my messages, obviously because I also need to see them from the office. There must be some file where each computer stores which messages were already seen before, and this information must also be shared by both computers..

How can I solve it ? It seems that the hardest part I´ve already done, but ....

Well, in what way would it help me ?? I am using both computers, and both access the same PST file, but everytime I check mail, each computer will download the same messages, even though these messages are already downloaded on the PST file. In other words, each computer treats a message as new for it, and will download it at least once... that is what I am trying to avoid...
