PST file size reducing - Roady

Hi Anver,

Go to the root folder (like Outlook Today) rightclick and
choose Properties. Here you'll have an Advanced...
button. A new window will open and here you can Choose
Compact Now. If you have deleted lots of items and got a
large pst-file it could take a while.

Hi Roady,
OK,If I don't make "compact now", all deleted files still
be there in the pst file. Because I deleted some of the
files(about 90 mb calculated appr with attachment)
yesterday still my pst file shows the same size.

Hi Anver,

Of course you'll need to clean your Deleted Items folder as well if you want
to see results from "Compact Now". I assume you got that, right? ;-). If you
don't use compact now no room will be cleared from the pst-file. The deleted
files will still be in the pst-file indeed but not really as it is very hard
to impossible to recover them once deleted from the deleted items folder. So
not a reason for not using the "Compact Now" button.

Regards
