.pst File to large

I am unable to link my .pst file to Outlook because the
file is too large 800mb. is there any way to get into the
file to edit or get it to link back to Outlook???

800MB is not too large for a .PST file, although it's getting there.
The maximum file size for a .PST file is 2GB, but most people start
getting errors soon after passing the 1GB mark. What are the exact
steps you're taking to try to reconnect your .PST file to Outlook, and
what happens when you try? Do you get any error messages, and if so,
what are they?
