PST files disconnect

Hi all !
Since nearly one month now, my users in Outlook 2K7 SP2, Vista SP2, wilt
latests updates are complaining about PST disconnections . They are workinh
with pst files and suddenly and randomly, when they want to move or read an
item in the psersonal folder it is said it's no more reachable.
The pst files are located on a network drive and there is no network
shutdown connectivity.
Their solution is to close the pst file and opên it again (or for most of
them close and open Outlook) that is very annoying for them.
Does someone is aware with this problem? maybe due to a recent update?

THanks for your answers !!!

Microsoft doesn't officially support PST files located on network drives.

Other than that, you could try playing with the PSTDisconnect registry value
but I don't think it is going to help if the OS is breaking the network
connection to conserve resources.

You are playing with fire. Even slight interruptions in the network traffic
can lead to data loss or PST corruption.
