.pst problems

Hi There,

My computer got fried in a storm 3 weeks ago. We have gotten a new computer
and my computer guy was able to restore the .pst files from outlook 2003. I
am trying to install the .pst files in outlook 2002 but with no luck. When I
get to importing, I get the following message: "the source and destination
folders for this operation cannot be the same". I've tried everything. Any
suggestions

Don't import - simply open it using Outlook-File->Open->Outlook Data File.
Ensure the file is compatible with Outlook 2002 - if it was created using
Outlook 2003 unicode format, you will need to create a new Outlook 97-2002
compatible file from an Outlook 2003 installation. If you don't have
Office/Outlook 2003 on this computer, download a trial version, open your
..pst file in Outlook 2003 and then create a new .pst file (97-2002 version)
and drag and drop your info into it. Close it and use that .pst file for
Outlook 2002.
