Michael-Edward:
I have a separate PST of each user on my computer. With the exception of one
PST all work fine. The PST I refer to as gMail is apparently corrupted. I
have run scanpst and it says its ok. Not wanting to mess with it at this
moment I went to change the name of that PST so Outlook would create a new
PST to download to. When I go to rename the PST a message comes up and says
the PST is being used by another program or user. So, how do I determine
what program is using the PST so I may shut it off. ALL applications of
Outlook are closed when I attempt to rename the file. Also, I notice the
FIND button on the header shows its been selected upon opening the program
BUT I never selected the FIND button. Could this be a separate
routine/program that is running? The CPU usage is anywhere from 85% to 98%
at this time when Outlook is open, but is 7% - 14% otherwise. If I wait 30
minutes without doing anything, I am able to navigate a while before it locks
up again. Thank you.
