Pub 2002 slow

I have Win XP Home with SP2, Office 2002 Prof and Pub 2002. When I edit any
document in the Publisher, it reloads line by line. I may insert just a coma
on a page, but the whole document of several pages starts do reload line by
line. Sure it takes long time ... Moreover, when I close Publisher, I get
message that a hyphenation and a spellchecker could not be loaded. It
suggested I run custom reinstallation. I did, but it did not help.
What's wrong? How to make Pub 2002 work faster without reloading the whole
documents every time? How to get hyphenation and spellchecker loaded?

Hi Ilya,
You might think about an upgraded video driver. Go to the manufacturer's web site and
look around. A simple disk cleanup could help too. Open "My Computer", right-click
the hard drive icon, properties, disk clean up, it will take awhile to populate.

In the meantime slide down the acceleration on your adapter, right-click the desktop,
properties, settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.

The temporary folder maybe full, Publisher creates temp files. The folder is similar
to this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp (probably hidden). or in the
Windows Explorer address bar type %temp%.

Well, I noticed this suggestion in a recent Brian's post... But,
you know, I'm a person, who needs more than one proding to do anything ;-))
Moreover, my comp is a brand new one (less than one month old), so, I
thought, it must be up to date. Sure, I was wrong. The new driver works fine!
Many thanks!
