Pub2002 What are .wmz files?

Cape Cod Bob

When converting from pub files to htm, Publisher 2002 is adding a
handful of .wmz files. What are they? How does one see/hear/whatever
them?

Bob, I just read your question after I typed my own. Noticed that the windows media player skin is a .wmz file. I would like to know what it is for. When I went to visit my stats page I seen that the .wmz file/url, had be viewed 10 times more than my index page. ??????????

In Pub2003, I turned off VML and it still creates
them . . . and they are HUGH! Can I just erase the VML
files to get the website file size down?

I have previously posted a request for users 2003 web pub files. What you
are referring to is something being tested and reviewed for a possible
resolution. It's an issue we've been discussing in this forum for some time.
If you have turned these options off and still retain large png's please
send me your pub file to assist in the testing and research of this issue -
address it to (e-mail address removed)
