Public Calendar Appointments lose start/end times

We have Outlook 2000 and Exchange 200 and use a public folder, calendar to schedule rooms. Recently some but not all of the appointments do not display. If I make an advanced search I can find the appointments but they have lost the start and end times. How can I get them back to how they were originally entered (with start and end times) and have them display?
