Public Calendar Entries appear on personal calendar.

When opening a "public calendar" event, meeting etc it will appear on a
personal calendar when it was not there before. Repeat, when simply
"opening" then "closing" the event it appears on the personal calendar. Any
clues out there as to why this might happen?
